  I was at the campsite today, Easter 2022, it is our second time, this time we opted for a Dormís. The truth is that I am very satisfied with the attention, those who receive us are very kind, they even suggested where to get what was not in the pantry The sleepers were in good condition, the bunk beds did not have good mattresses but the large bed was clean with no bugs, stove in good condition and we even had an electric stove. The bathrooms are always clean, (cleanliness also depends on one if they don't put the papers in the bin), very hot water in the showers Loose fishing, nothing comes out and there is a lot of hook Maintenance is lacking, but quite comfortable, I give them 4 stars for attention and cleanliness and for them to continue improving. If you are looking for a nice place to rest and relax I recommend it

  DISAPPOINTING IN EVERY WAY My elderly parents entered the El Dorado campsite with the intention of resting after a long trip, on the night of March 26, 2022. The site manager charged them $5,000 and provided them with a dorm. My parents, needing to be able to rest in order to get up early and return home, entered confident that the place would be in good condition. Unfortunately, they found a dorm with a lot of humidity, the mattress and padding in terrible conditions, the roof broken, badly repaired, infested with bats (they had to go out to ask for the money because they needed to go somewhere else to rest, I repeat, they are older adults who trusted the service they claimed to offer on their Facebook account). Not only did THEY NOT RETURN THE MONEY, but he contemptuously offered to complain to the municipality, implying that this was not going to change anything. As the icing on the cake, he even made fun of them saying that their complaint was a threat. THEY JUST WANTED THEIR MONEY BACK. If you can stay somewhere else, TRY TO AVOID THE STUFFY CAMPING EL DORADO. They will save themselves from the mistreatment of people, bats and fleas.

  Do not be fooled by the place, nothing to do with the photos, dirty lack of maintenance, they cut off the power, on top of that the cheeky owner treats you badly for claiming what corresponds, honestly if you want to have a bad time go to El Dorado, now you want to spend a good time with family or friends, look for another place for the same price, you will find places that are much better well managed and with friendly owners who are aware of the service they offer. Going to gold is throwing money away and filling the pockets of disrespectful and ill-mannered owners

  It is not a recommended place. Everything the previous review says is as is and above: we agreed a total price for the 3-day stay, we paid everything when we entered. On the last day they wanted to charge us for a separate stay, outside of the agreed price, plus a pool. Adding room and pool (which is very expensive) is much more expensive than others in the area, it is small, lacks maintenance, the pantry is expensive and empty. Not to mention fishing, the dock is tiny and flimsy, pure hitch. We left earlier than expected, would not return. The guys who take care of macanudos but the owners are very unreliable and do not respect the prices they agree on.
