  New rooms across the road are totally under equipped. The bathroom had cockroaches at night. Breakfast is simple, but sufficient.

  Helpful staff, they spoke good english which made things easier than other places. rooms had good AC. Shower controls were a little unintuitive.

  It started at the wrong foot when they tried to charge me yo pay on Mendoza Pesos which were more expwnsive than Argebtenian pesos, thsi being because the hotel does not haver a rate in pesos, but in dólares. They do not believw tehir currency is good enough. The hotel is very old and not well kept. Only some rooms have Wi-Fi. Staff does not greet you. My husband was sick and I went down to the hotel restaurant to try to buy fruit and they said they did not sell fruit. They do serve it every day for breakfast though, but cannot help a sick guest by selling 1 piece of fruit on a Sunday night when all is closed. Stay at the other side of plaza de independencia (Independence square) there are more restaurants with better food and movement.

  Nice hotel in Mendoza. Very reasonable prices. Nice town.

  Cleaning staffs ate up my cookies while I was out. What would happen if I put my camera in the room? Nobody knows. Plus, the receptionist did not apologize for this happening. Also the noise from the outside was really annoying. I couldn't sleep well. The bathroom was not clean and the water pressure of the shower was too weak.
