  Branch 084 of Banco Credicoop ,, baptized with the name of the famous Mar del Plata Juan B, was formerly Banco Oceánico. Beautifully remodeled a couple of years ago, everything that refers to its structure, interiors and façade, has not inspired in the least either its staff or the leadership to improve the quality of attention to users of the bank. As if customers, affiliates, money and fame are left over, they serve expressing a displeasure impossible to not identify. It is one of the hundreds of branches that this worthy bank has scattered throughout the territory of the Argentine nation, especially in areas neglected by the local national bank, due to low profitability issues. In this country, it is the only private capital entity installed within our national territory that does not belong to any foreign or multinational bank. But the most remarkable thing about the case is that it is a COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION, that is, the owners of the bank are each one of its affiliates. And you are an affiliate from the moment you set up an account in your name. In several branches of this precious social credit company, the not particular situation of low participation should happen, and the places of the directive commissions are semi-deserted, or occupied by people not very committed to the cooperative movement, with the feeling of cooperativism manifested in acts, but rather because of some personal interest, usually related to the situations of their personal accounts or just because they belong to a small group of highlights, with some small privileges such as enjoying the catering that is hired for commission meetings and other events or simply for to have more arrival at the management and to be a little more covered in case of need for any pedal, an overdraft or some credit that implies a requirement that can be avoided from that place, It is unfortunate but real. The worst of the case is that the officials, managers and others, hired for executive activity, can do little and nothing against this institutional misfortune, both with the situation with the leadership and with the situation with the personnel. The bank employees union, at least in Argentina, is a strong union. And the sad reality is that its affiliates, within the bank employees, abuse their almost dominant position in their workplace. But the worst thing about this whole matter is that the only losers in the situation are the USERS, each person who enters the building to be properly cared for when entering an institution that intends to give them a hierarchical position, whether short or long abused or directly treated, whether or not they have an account at the subsidiary. I will not have traveled a dozen of the other branches of the Credicoop but, at least of the four that are in Mar del Plata, this is by far the one that worst serves users. Employees do what they feel like, which is generally not serving customers properly (except if you are linked to one of them).
