  Mundial Hotel is 2 star quality hotel with old style high celing rooms and large bathrooms. Breakfast is very poor but costs 1000 pesos and for that you will get crossants, tosts, cheese, ham, jam, butter and a cake. Fruits are only served from cans so they are extremely sweet. But the worse is that you cannot feel safe there. Me and my friend got robbed on the last night there from our rooms, from safe boxes. Cash, credit cards and as it occured later also trekking shoes and jacket got stolen. The hotel crew cooperated with us to a little extend - only called police and helped with translation. However there is no insurance policy in the hotel, so you will not get help. So, never leave things in hotel safe boxes and try to stay away from this hotel. NOT RECOMMENDED

  Beautiful old building in the heart of the city. This is a vintage building so keep in mind there are some flaws, slow elevator etc but it was a very nice stay. Family enjoyed very much. We did not know about breakfast until last day so would have been nice to know when we checked in.

  Room was not what you would call dirty but it wasn't clean at all, all the bed sheets felt old. The curtains didn't block the light so you couldn't sleep past 6am. WiFi wasn't working no matter which one you tried. A very unpleasant stay, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

  We stayed here for 5 days during our trip to Argentina. The location is excellent and the building is gorgeous; it's an old building that makes you feel like your are travelling back in time. We liked our room; it was clean and quiet with bright red walls (minor problem is that the air conditioner occupies all the space on the balcony). The breakfast was fine and service was fine. I would stay here again.
