::Yesterday I witnessed the GREATEST ACT OF DISCRIMINATION OF MY LIFE. Excuse the local referent, if my clothes are not branded, if being a hard-working person since I was 18, if walking shaved and with short hair is not suitable, if my job to which I feel comfortable and I am proud every day to do it, if my two university degrees and my wallet that contained enough money to pay for a treatment. And all of the above, I have NOT been able to OVERCOME your STEREOTYPES because of my skin color, which was pointed out to me by the staff that worked as a receptionist yesterday afternoon; that I did not have the appropriate "TARGET" to make up the list of his patients. I greatly appreciate the values that my parents and my profession instilled in me; today I carry my life with great exaltation and although it is not perfect I try to improve myself daily and improve all aspects of it; but I ask you my most sincere apologies because I can change many things but I CANNOT change my SKIN COLOR, and so much so that I am very sorry for having bothered you believing that I could become one of your patients. But believe me that I also felt uncomfortable receiving that treatment, asking me out loud, hostile and with an excess of confidence that I never granted, ordering me to get up from my seat and leave the room since my appearance was that of a person who performs criminal acts citing the words "I'm going to be direct, you skinny, you're not a jet"... in addition to another very strange subsequent situation involved. Really when I heard those words I was taken aback and I was only invaded by a deep shame not only for that discriminatory act but shame for the people who were inside the place, including a minor, and for the sacrifice and dedication that my parents in my upbringing. Not only did he disrespect me, but also those who left years of their lives on me. So much so that my response to such an aberration of discriminating against a person because of their skin color was, "thank you very much, I appreciate everything. Have a good day" and I left the place. Believe me, in these 30 days that I find myself locating the city, I have not received another equal or similar treatment from the rest of the citizens who have been framed within Law 17,722. I hope there is peace in the heart of Mr. who attended me that I could not recognize since he had a chinstrap just like me. Thank you very much.
