  This is no longer the bus station at El Calafate; it has moved to a new place on the edge of town near calle 814. The old bus station is closed. All buses go from the new station to places such as the Perito Moreno glacier and El Chalten. Bus tickets can be bought at the desks at the new station from companies such as Caltur.

  Buses go to basically all the necessary places around here. We found the ones that we took very comfortable and punctual. It's advised to pay in cash, since you'll save quite some money. Of course you have to take it from an ATM that usually does not allow you to withdraw more than 1000 pesos excluding ridiculous fees. Still cheaper than paying by card though...
