  TO AVOID!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!.....I left my wife at lavanderia de xime to do our laundry while i was sorting out other jobs around Mendoza. After 1 hour and half I came back to pick her up only to find out the lady owner was being very mean and play the greedy clever shop owner. It was agreed on a self service basis 40 min wash and 20 min dry. The woman owner tampered with the switches of the machines turning to cold water for the wash and low heat for the dry, even refusing to let my wife dry the clothes and the police had to be called. When she told me all of this i went back inside and told her off and called her by names of what she really is. We are travelling and it is not easy for us to do the laundry and we count on the honesty of laundrettes. Honesty is something the woman owner of this place doesn't know anything about. We had to bring our damp clothes to another laundry , a chain called "5asec" and for a similar price we could have had everything washed, dryed, ironed , perfumed and folded, wish we had known before . BEWARE...

  A TOTAL DISASTER!!! I gave one star to this launderette because it was not possible to score 0. The lady owner was the most rude and greedy person I have ever met. It was offered a self service option of 55 pesos for 40 min wash and 55 pesos for 20 min. dry. I set the washing to hot water temperature , looked at the time and went out for an ice cream. I came back in less than 15 minutes only to find out that the woman was tampering , turning handles and playing with the washing machine , the water temperature was turned to cold and the cycle finished in about 30 minutes. I politely asked what was going on and why after 30 minutes the washing cycle ended already , I also mentioned that I set the temperature to hot and not cold like it was now. The lady denied that she turn it to cold and when I caught her playing with the machine she said she was doing nothing, this is how her machine works and i don't understand anything. She said that the water was hot but when i picked up the clothes they were stone cold. I decided that life is to short to argue with such a greedy low level person so i picked up the laundry and walked towards the dryers only to be stopped by the lady owner and be told that I need to go out because she doesn't want to sell me her services and she can do anything she likes because this is her shop . I replied that I had nowhere to go with two bags full of half washed full of water clothes with no means to dry them, me and my husband are travelling and he will pick me up in one hour, I asked to give me the coin for the drier because I would not leave until the clothes would be dried. She threatened me to call the police, something I was very happy to hear and finally after the first time pretending to call the Police when she saw I wasn't going to leave she called them eventually. Shortly after the police came and the Lady owner suddenly turned eye candy and very polite offering the officers some matte tea. luckily one officers spoke English and after explaining the situation the police was of course on my side asking if i wanted to press charges to the lady owner and if i needed to go elsewhere to dry my clothes they could take me there. I said that i do not want to press charges , my husband will pick me from here later on and all i want is to dry my clothes. The police asked the lady owner to let me finish my laundry and they would be there until finished. She was arguing with the officers that she doesn't want to sell me her services but eventually the officers said they would not leave until I dry my clothes. I finally could place the wet clothes in the dryer but still the nightmare was not over, the clothes would fit in one machine but the woman insisted i needed to place it in 2 separate ones, not to arguing further this is what i did, unfortunately as the last act of greediness she said that the dryer would work on low temperature as it was hot so the police believed her and switched the cycle to low temperature probably not to keep arguing. Once again contrary to what I had set out on the dryer . Obviously it was another lie because the clothes were still very damp after the dry cycle. The lady said that if I want the clothes dry i would need at least two more times for each machine. I felt she was just abusing us all. I wanted not to waste anymore time with this useless woman and my husband was coming back to pick me up.Total spent for 2 medium sized bags of washing 220 pesos, the wash was mediocre and the dry even worse. Very old washing equipment and the worst shop keeper ever. DO NOT GO THERE!! After reading other reviews I could see I am not the only one being conned, there are many chains of launderette in Mendoza, surely a better option, I wish I had known it before.

  DESASTRE, NO VAYAN!!! acabo de gastar $150 p llevarme la ropa mojada... lejos d utilizar la lógica, a la Sra le preocupa más irse 15 min antes en vez d preocuparse x el cliente, encima turista..

  Great place to do laundry. You can do self service or get them to do it. I paid ARS90 for self service for washing machine, dryer and washing powder. Not sure how much they charge for them to do it. But the lady there was very helpful. She put the powder and coin in for me and showed me how to start it. There is Wi-Fi there also. She spoke a little bit of English too.
