  The attention at the reception was the only good thing, very cordial and friendly all the time. After the facilities remained in time. Fine mattresses. Broken curtains. The shower in the bathroom of 1x1 impossible to maneuver to bathe. Poor breakfast (coffee with milk and bills / creoles) and for what we paid (6500) something more was expected. Luckily we went one night. We would not return.

  Very basic hotel, the staff was really nice to us, but they asked us to pay extra VAT on top of the booking price (which already included VAT). Don't have too high expectations.

  Good place to spend the night. My family and I spend the night at Nuevo Castillo Hotel, after nearly an hour trying to find a room in other hotels in downtown Mendoza. Almost every hotel we went to was full. It was our first time visiting the city, and we were lucky to find this hotel late at night. Please note that this is not a 5 or even 4 stars hotel, but overall is good, clean with basic amenities, good to spend the night in a very central area of the city. Another good thing I found is that it actually accepted payment in US dollars, something no other hotel or place in Mendoza will do, not sure why. The clerk was friendly, respectful and very helpful. Next morning we woke up late, but the clerk was very nice in preparing coffee, orange juice and placed pastries for all of us (my wife, 3 kids and I), even though it was few minutes past the breakfast hour. We stayed one night but given the opportunity to visit Mendoza again, I would come back to this Hotel, given its central location, cleanliness, security and good price. I recommend Nuevo Castillo Hotel.

  Ok
