We booked at a price of 3,500 pesos (and asked by phone before going to confirm) and upon arrival, the receptionist tells us that "there was a mistake", and in reality it was 5,800 pesos. That the prices were out of date (he's not going to bother updating them either, it seems because they stay the same). A total immorality, and to top it off the unpresentable room, without any maintenance or anything. Obviously breakfast either. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I've been coming for 3 years ... it hurts that they take you out when they feel like it. OBVIOUSLY THE PEOPLE WHO ATIEBDE NOW DON'T HAVE THE SLOWEST IDEA OF HOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE LIVED THERE FOR YEARS ARE TREATED ... DEPLORABLE. DIRTY. VERY BAD ATTENTION.

Excellent location. The building is an old little palace with a very nice backyard and terrace. Breakfast is ok, very Argentinean. Staff helpful and nice. Great value for money relationship I do totally this place

Very nice! -- As long as you are not a pampered princess. Most of the staff are warm and welcoming. Those that weren't, did not speak English but they still would smile and nod. The cleaning ladies would tidy up the rooms every day, which really is a bonus because we have never experienced that kind of service at any other hostel we have been to. Cabs can take you anywhere in the city for US$5 or less. Breakfast was modest by American standards but perfectly suited to an Argentinian lifestyle where dinner is both huge and late in the evening. For around $35 U.S. per night depending on the exchange rate you get , why wouldn't you stay here?
