::We had diner at this wonderful place. From the food to the service we were more than happy. A few but well defined a la carte options. Ask to be seated outside in the lovely patio with a unique atmosphere!

::Very passable cuisine, better wine, but the waitress fell flat from the moment I walked in. (And I gave her the chance to apologise.) How do I explain this? As someone with banking cards issued outside of this great country, my presence must have been confusing to her. Only after the meal had concluded was I told that sought to charge me an extra 10% based on a newfound presumption that any international card in my possession would be processed as a credit card (due to the fact that I'm not a home-grown Argentinian). However, one of my UK cards worked perfectly fine using her machine's debit card option, as it has done several hundred times before throughout my stay in Argentina, without the need for her to ruin my meal by being so confrontational about a 10% surcharge. Why do I even report this? So that other international guests don't fall into a trap. Take my advice: stand your ground, eat wisely, and wilfully defy any unapologetically unlawful ten per cent taxation. There are always other delicious options on your doorstep. Over and out.

::Excellent food quality, very friendly and personal service, very cosy atmosphere due to very small number of tables. Maybe the best place to eat in San Rafael!
