  Fees for foreign cards are 630 pesos per transaction... which is £8 or $10... All ATMs in town are dodgy, various charges being made, possible skimming... just bring USD cash and exchange it with your hotel for more than it’s actually worth Do not use an ATM in El Calafate... read other reviews, everyone’s getting skimmed And even if you don’t get skimmed, the bank is still f**king you

  The only place in town where we could withdraw 2000 pesos at once, with the additional fee of about 95 pesos for each transaction. Although many places accept credit cards, cash is still king in this town. This is no problem, since you'll be spending it rather quickly anyway....

  Only place where we could get more than 2000 pesos at once (2900!)
