::Excellent place to visit. Be aware that it is very popular and most of the time there is a line of people trying to do what you want to do…. Get in. Wait may exceed 30 minutes. It is worth it! To me, the best part was the evening because there is an spectacular Tango Show with very talented tango dancer couples and an extraordinary voice of one of the most popular tango singers in Buenos Aires, Mr Roberto Minondi. He will most likely engage you in one of his songs and also share the floor with you. No doubt he is so popular and easy going….his voice?….magnificent!. The whole group of artists will lift your spirit. This is how I felt. I highly recommend, that, if you are in Buenos Aires, see the tango show at the Cafe Tortoni.

::As a breakfast person, especially if you accompany it with a perfect cup of coffee, I think is the best way to begin the day. This place got stuck in time, every inch is full of history and art. At this time is almost winter, it is a chill morning, and you can spot a waiting line at the door, most of these people are tourists who are just dropped off by the hop-on-hop-off bus. You can choose from preset breakfasts or lunch, or maybe you can create your combo with different pastries, coffees, sandwiches, etc. The pastries have an incredible flavor, you can feel the crunchiness and traditional flavor, in every bite. We got a couple of sandwiches (jam, cheese, and tomato), and of course, you can not miss a freshly squeezed orange juice. If you are in Buenos Aires you can not miss this place.

::if you want to go here for the history behind it, fine. but there's not much else to enjoy. with a long wait time and the crew of maybe 2 servers the only real reason to spend time waiting for entrance was to take pictures inside. food didn't "wow", nothing was spectacular. it was acceptable no mas.

::Historic cafe shoppe that opened in 1858. Definitely worth visiting. Didn’t try any of the food aside from a slice of apple pie (which was good). We enjoyed the hour we spent here 👍👍

::If you’re in Buenos Aires, go here. One of the best and well known cafes in the world. If it’s good enough for Einstein, it’s good enough for me. Decor is amazing. No other place in the world like it.
