::La Casa de te y restaurante Viejos Tiempos is a hidden and picturesque corner in the context of Mar de las Pampas. I quote at 80 Paiva street, it is accessed by a long staircase and is located at the level of the treetops. The kitsch decoration of its various nooks and crannies gives the whole a very fun touch. It is a little dark and there is quite a lot of humidity, typical of the wooded place. But the picturesque makes up for it. We went in one afternoon to drink tea from threads and we were excellently attended. The place specializes in Mexican food. It is worth taking a getaway

::The place is beautiful outside and inside. However, the cakes and coffee, like the entire menu, are excessively priced. Black filter coffee $400 and cakes $700 (very small portion) for example. Finally, the taste of the cakes is very ugly, especially the cheesecake. Don't go, there are better places like Las Cortaderas (also in Mar de las Pampas).

::It is one of those places that have their own magic, where nothing goes with nothing but everything looks good. Attended by its owner, the tables are arranged in the living room of his house. We went for dinner, it should be noted that at night it is only with prior reservation since otherwise the place closes. It is obvious that this person likes to entertain his guests and the fewer people there are, the better. The specialty is Mexican food. We ordered guacamole, enchiladas, and the best chilaquiles I've ever tasted. The drinks are very good. It would need more variety of beers. A recommendable experience. I read very bad comments, I calculate that because they are people who go during peak hours and since it is a single person, I understand that at some point the kitchen can collapse.

::Very picturesque place. It is the first commercial premises in Mar de las Pampas, from the 1980s when there were only 5 houses in the area. With antiques and attended by its original owner, willing to tell the whole story. For tea and dinner. Open after 5pm
