  Unfortunately, not what we were hoping for. It took several attempts via online booking, phone and email to get confirmation for our tasting followed by lunch. The tasting led by enthusiastic Guiliana was good. For lunch we were told our table for five was ready for us as requested on the attractive decking by the pond. On getting there we found it had been given to another group, with no other table available. We had to make do with a table away from all the other diners, with a consequent reduction in the level of service attention. No apologies offered. The table was part laid for us, but not completed. We had booked the a la carte lunch and showed the booking confirmation, but were told this was not available, and had to make do with the three course menu with limited choices offered. Again, no apology. The food was good, but steak knives only presented five minutes after the steaks had been served. Overall therefore, pretty disappointing, given we had booked and arrived with high expectations.

  We had a wonderfull guided visit through the cellars and the winery. Our guide gave it her all speaking in English and really gave the experience a big extra. The wines were amazing and the food veryy well paired. Must see winery! 🧡

  Our experience was stunning! We went to several wineries and this was the most pretty, personal, tasty and insightful of all. We have enjoyed our tour guide and wine specialist who answered all our questions despite being three foreigners in a group of 15 Spanish speaking people. They have good wines and do well managed and creative pairing with appetizers. Thank you!

  Wonderful tour and tasting We loved Clos de Chacras, a family-owned boutique winery with a great history behind it. We did the 4 wine tasting which comes with a ‘bite’ pairing. The wines and flavours were fantastic and our guide Agostina was very warm and knowledgeable on both the tasting and tour. Highly recommend.
