::My mom has been going every Tuesday for a month to take a shift for an anesthetic fit. The first week they took a holiday. Second week the doctor was on vacation they told her to come back the following Tuesday. The following week (the third) the doctor was still on vacation, again they told her to come back the following week. Today being the fourth week, the receptionist told her that they don't take shifts because "it coincides with the holiday of August 17" My mother doesn't know what she wanted to tell her honestly because it's August 2... what does the holiday have to do with it? of August 17 if there are 15 days left? And even more so if it is a matter of health, they have been postponing it for a month, my mother going there every Tuesday at 5 in the morning to get an appointment since they are limited and thus play with time and people's health. And as if that were not enough, the receptionist, luckily as polite, friendly and empathetic as a person who covers that job should be, told her "if you want to talk to someone, go talk to the mayor.." Anyway, I hope that That lady who works at the reception never has to have a family member or be on the side who, due to a health issue, needs a shift to attend to herself because if she gets someone like her, such a bad person, and poorly educated, they will give her the shift the day you need an emergency.
