::An art deco style sky scraper with an interesting history and lore. Be sure to check out the church behind the Edificio, it is hidden from view but beautiful once you see it. The Edificio Kavanagh looks in need of a revamp, it unfortunately shows its age.

::Quite an amazing building. Beautiful!!! It's a pity that they let all the ACs hanging on to the building.
Rodrigo Fernández Díaz
::An architectural icon in the city, but that desperately cries for a revamping

::When it was built, it was the highest building in Latin America. Built with the funds of a mrs. Kavanagh, a very wealthy widow. Local legend has it the building was constructed out of spite because a local old money family would not let their daughter marry mrs. Kavanagh's son. This family owned a mansion on one end of the square and their own family chapel (church sized) on the other end of the square. As you will see that church is now blocked from view because of the Kavanagh building square in front of it. Not sure if it is true, but you have got to admit it makes for a good story ;-)
