  Excelent selection of books. With several locations throughout the area, el Ateneo is a "must"stop for anyone visiting the city.

  Great bookstore with a huge selection of titles mostly in Spanish, even though they do have a section for the English and Portuguese readers.

  Books in English are limited, but still a beautiful bookstore. The food at the cafe is very good as well.

  Excellent atmosphere. Suitable for both locals and tourists. Used to be a big house in the beginning of the 20th century but has been refurbished as a bookstore recently. I really enjoy the history and arts sections
