::If you want to have a good time in the countryside in an exceptional place, do not hesitate for a second, La Sofia is the perfect destination just over an hour and a half from Buenos Aires. The warm welcome that Silke and Marcos, both high-level polo players, will offer you will make you feel at home... but in the charm of the hundred-year-old walls of their home. Nature in its purest state, the sound of the wind through the foliage of the trees, the sweet song of the birds, the wide choice of typical activities, even going to an initiation to polo, a few strokes of swimming in the swimming pools... you won't have time to get bored. And without forgetting the excellent local cuisine offered by Marcos and his teams. If you ever want to discover the Universe of the Gauchos, go for a walk along the alleys of San Antonio de Areco (about twenty minutes from the Estancia) and visit the local shops and stop to sip a local drink in a " boliche".

::Stay with family warmth... Just 1.30 hours from the Capital and very close to the center of Areco, is LA SOFIA. Upon arrival, the owners (Silke and Marcos) greeted us and from that moment it gives one the feeling of being in the right place!... Magical sunsets on horses, roasted meats, Creole empanadas and snacks full of delicious things, views incredible to the field where the boards where the polo field begins are projected in the distance and in the distance, the free horses! The pool that invites you to have a drink and relax... The rooms with panoramic views and very well equipped with those details that make them unique. La Sofía is a place with all that and more!

::Beware of extra charges. When we went to pay for our reservation, Estancia Sofia added an EXTRA $1500 USD to our bill even though the price was advertised as "all included." They also said they were adding 10% extra of the total bill for paying with a credit card, as well as $50 USD for "bank fees." Cuidado.
