::It's okay. If you're a tourist and are accustomed to Walgreens, Pharmaprix and all that stuff, you'll see a few resembles but not the same thing. You can buy items like dietary supplements, drugs, female underwear, umbrellas, drinks, snacks, chocolate, perfumes, toiletries, baby food and condoms .... Remember you'll have to queue twice if you're looking for any medication: first at the pharmacy counter and later at the checkout, then summon all your patience (even if it's an over-the-counter drug, 'cause fortunately regulations are a little bit different in Argentina than in many other countries) Aside from that, pharmacists assistants, technicians and pharmacist are usually predisposed to help patients/costumers in a friendly way as well as many of their replenishing employees and the climatologist do. AGAIN: Not recomendable between 19:00 and 21:00 when lines seem to be never-ending if you just need to pick a little blister of aspirin. PS: Don't forget drugs are probably sold in a different way than in your place of origin, so first of all, find out if you need a current printed or written prescription or not.
