::We all know 'la Lido' from Villa y Pueblo. This branch is newer. Sells Lido ice cream and specialty coffee. It is in front of the river, in av. San Lorenzo and Mitre. "Miter 221". Downstairs from the opulent new "Don Ismael" building. The view! You feel that you are in a "wide" place both inside the premises and outside. It is on the boulevard of av. Mitre, in "T" with the coast. They recommend going in the morning around 8 AM to see the sunrise, the sun over the river. There are tables outside, on the av. Miter and inside (most). (inside tables) 2 options: + in front of the window, with a panoramic view of the river. 'Metal high chairs'. 'individuals or 2'. + lower black metal tables for comfortable, 'group' chatting. A huge and modern TV plays cool music, -electronic music or hits- and paradisiacal images of 'beaches and trips'. I think so too. you can see some match of the selection. For us who do not live here (the place) is a good complement to the natural landscape. It allows you to talk with the baristas about local and diverse topics. All who serve, then and now, are warm and efficient. You can see a little bird nearby (see photos). And listen to them, especially some noisy parrots in a tree opposite, on the sidewalk of 'Turismo'. Re well located, between 2 avenues = easy access. Being in the center you arrive in 5 minutes. Attended with care by Jonatan, Anita, Alejandra. Now (autumn 2022') Celina, Guillermina and José. Both Jonas and Alejandra and Anne worried that Mommy (80) would not fall out of high chairs, suggesting 'low-chairs'. They took care of her as if she were her grandmother. Guill. He helped me with something I should know to take acceptable photos with the cell phone. C. tb. I was empathic with mom. 'They take care of her' when I went to get the car one day when it was pouring rain so that it wouldn't get wet, etc. In BA you cannot leave an older adult alone in a public place. --- All ultra clean (also seen in the photos), porcelain floor. Very rich coffee. Tall of course toast, I recommend the 'multigrain bran,'. I also recommend the apple crumble. HOURS: long, important for people like mom and I who usually want to eat something at unusual times like "4 in the afternoon" or 11 at night to say something. Mon-Sun 8-24 hours. Holidays open! Out of season: Mon-Thurs 8-23 hs. Fri and Sun, 8-24 hours. Sat until 1 AM. Holidays: 8-1 AM at the latest. --- READING material: they have a Clarín and tb. the newspaper el Norte (San Nicolás) of the day. In addition to some Viva -Clarín- magazines to keep up to date. And get out of the screens we always see. Rest your eyes. ---- Nice and clean bathrooms. Space between tables, high ceilings = important because of the covir that never goes away (written in 2022'). The fact that it is all white and little decoration makes it easier to talk, both with who you go and with the baritas. --- Excellent Wi-Fi connection. Download 52mb, upload 15mb, measured by the "Speedtest" program. I was able to upload 4K videos of the Ramallo Porá festival. Basically ALL DAY. Not only does the connection fly, but Jona and Anita were kind, keeping me company from time to time. A jewel wine because working with the computer can be tedious. To rest 'I looked at the river and the horizon'. You should never neglect yourself but they took care of my computer in a little while that I had to leave, as if it were theirs. --- "Recommended" is not enough. 5 stars. . Personal anecdote: First time we went, without having consumed anything, we asked where to wash the car -nothing to do with the item ;))-. Jona and Ale suggested a couple of places nearby and offered to 'wait there' while they washed our car. Me: "but we can take a long time": They: "We are in Ramallo". Sofi told me the same thing before. As they are not measuring "how much you spend or the time you are occupying the premises." That kindness that as porteños makes us believe that it is 'a load of Tinelli' because it can't be real. ---

::A very well decorated and comfortable place to see the river from inside or outside. The attention of the staff is very good and they are super attentive. I ordered toast and cappuccino and they were good, the cheesecake not so much
