  The Austral Solidarity Hospital was a 100% private initiative and financing action carried out by the Austral University and the Austral University Hospital to provide highly complex care to patients referred from the public health system, within the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project had the contribution of money in cash and in kind from hundreds of benefactors, companies, entrepreneurs, common people, friends, patients, families who responded to the call for solidarity. Today, after the emergency that hit the world is over, the facilities were converted to continue providing another type of care. It is called the Austral Comprehensive Care Unit, and provides palliative care to patients and their families, with the highest standards of quality, health care, and emotional and spiritual support.

  It is a space annexed to the Austral Hospital, built in a sector of the Campus. On the same property there are tennis courts, soccer fields and a Campus gym.
