  New owner, Mariano, is great!! Super nice and helpful!! Old property nicely looked after, very clean place. Decent breakfast and amazing common area and terrace. Big kitchen and big rooms with lockers.

  We booked the hostel on Hostelworld. When we arrived the guy at the front desk, who said he was the new owner, said that since he just bought the hostel a week ago he has not had a chance to change the prices on Hostelworld's website. We booked for two nights. He said he would honor the price for the first night, but the second night would be double. He also could not take our card since that had not been set up yet, but we were able to pay with card at his other hostel. The hostel itself is a beautiful building with a lot of character in a great neighborhood and location. There seems to be a lot going on at the hostel, but we were the only guests besides one or two others so there wasn't much atmosphere, but it made it very quiet which was nice. The wifi signal was strong. The other girl who worked there was really nice as was the new owner, and they were both helpful with the bus routes. The rooms were clean, but a little dated. The kitchen facilities were good. There were lockers every where to keep your things safe, and all the rooms looked really nice. The only negative was the "breakfast" which was water, weak coffee, or tea and some crusty bread. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in Mendoza this is a pretty good one. Just don't book on Hostelworld or you will have a difficult time with check-in. I'm not sure the hostel is worth the double price he's charging now, but that is for you and your budget to decide.

  Great location to access Mendoza but over all the place could use a bit of love. It's well priced though and has a friendly staff.

  The room was full of insects and had a really strong sewage smell. The free wine was good though.

  Realy friendly Stuff, good Location, cool looking House. The baths could have been a little bit Cleaner thats Why just 4 Stars : ) We would stay everytime again
