::Monument to Don Juan Manuel de Rosas, creator of the Chivilcoy party, on December 28, 1845. Located in the main square, May 25, it belongs to the local sculptor and teacher, Professor Beatriz Ana Cánepa. It was inaugurated on December 28, 1996, under the municipal management of Dr. Rodolfo Bardengo. On December 28, 1996, during the municipal administration of Dr. Rodolfo Bardengo, the inauguration of the bust of Brigadier General Don Juan Manuel de Rosas had to take place in the main square on May 25; an appreciable sculptural work, by the talented and outstanding plastic artist and teacher, Professor Beatriz Ana Cánepa. It was the first work, of an aesthetic nature, carried out by a woman, at a public level. For the purposes of the materialization of said project, a Permanent Commission of Homage had to be formed, to the figure of the creator of our Party, Don Juan Manuel de Rosas, composed, among others, by the fervent and genuine traditionalist, and singular exponent, of Creole and gaucho expressions, Oscar José Marchesini, Dr. Carlos Horacio Luparia, Dionisio Larrea, the accountant Néstor Oscar Martino and the attorney Juan Antonio Larrea. A few years earlier, on the initiative of Oscar Marchesini himself, by virtue of ordinance No. 2053, which was sanctioned by the Honorable Deliberative Council on June 6, 1985, the name of Juan Manuel de Rosas was imposed on avenue No. 92.
