::The place is no longer what it was. The groups singing do it in a way that nobody can sing along. It's all like a boring show where it is very difficult to follow and enjoy. Food is good but portions are really small. There are other peñas where you can sing along and have more fun.

::Touristic but good to introduce yourself to the local folk. Be aware they charge for the show!!!
Mecha Ferrero
::Great folk atmosphere!

::Tourist trap. Food nothing special, the show neither. Expensive.

::Sold as the temple of folklore in Salta. Really turistic place, probably not a single local other than the performers and waiting staff. Full of people coming by coach from different regions of Argentina. It was most likely original years ago and at some point became a money making factory. Waiters run around stressed receiving orders through earphones. It was of course very expensive: two basic salads, water and two empanadas + the show 840 pesos (19USD)! The music and dancing was decent and entertaining though.
