::Absolutely awful refugio. People are not kind, actually they are quite rude. It is super expensive ,same as a bed in a hostel in town, after they charged us they told us everybody was sharing with someone else a filthy single mattress (after paying full) they don't have a booking system so they just let everyone get up there, they put people to sleep everywhere , one next to another like tinned fish. The environmental impact must be huge since over 600 people a day sleep there and use toilets and also use the forest as toilets. Horrible money factory in the mountains without even being nice to people. Try to sleep somewhere else.

::The place is incredible but the attention is terrible, in bad taste and bad desire. You have to chase after the shelters to register when you arrive or buy something. In addition, they are very unwilling to provide you with information when you require it.

::The place is beautiful, it is very cold and it usually rains or snows often. The attention is good but when I went half of the things on the menu were missing. There is a path to go to the ice caves, amazing.

::Amazing Refugio!! The walk there from Dona Rosa is tough, but so worth it! They're open generally from September to March and you can either stay in the refuge or camp outside.
