::Terrible experience with the owners of the refuge and the mountain, because they seem to be. They mistreat you and the only thing they are interested in is getting money from you, exploiting nature. The scenery is beautiful but that couple of characters completely ruin the experience. Never seen

::The place is one of the most beautiful I have seen in the South. And at the Refugio we had lunch, all homemade, very tasty. Normal prices and excellent service.

::The place is exceptionally beautiful. It is worth going two nights and thus dedicating the first day to making the way to the refuge calmly, pausing in the crystalline pools and sandy beaches, and the second day dedicating it exclusively to walking the paths that start from up there without having to to get up so early, to finally go down on the 3rd day. Now, with respect to the REFUGIERA I must say that it leaves a LOT TO BE DESIRED. In general, those who occupy these positions do so out of love for the mountains and, above all, for mountaineers. This I cannot say is the case. All the way you can read signs that literally do nothing but EXCLUDE possible visitors and turn mountaineering into an activity for a few. An example of these are the prohibitions to climb with musical instruments or in groups larger than 4 people. Let someone tell you that you do NOT own the mountain and that the best way to preserve nature is not to drive away tourists but to invite them to live the experience. You can't love, and unfortunately you can't respect what you don't know. Another issue to observe is the PRICES issue. An egg (raw) is $250 and heating water for the thermos is $300 (while in other refus it is free). To consume or not up there is a choice, of course, but clearly it is a complete ABUSE. Not even cencosud was encouraged to do so. Another thing I don't understand is why in absolutely all the rest of the shelters you can spend the night or use the kitchen or other typical activities for which these FACILITIES exist and here in Motoco NO. Covid is a reality, but it cannot be transformed into an excuse. There are vaccines, protocols and good will, open the doors once and for all, that's what they are for. If Frida sheltered her, she wanted a cabin for herself in the middle of the forest, so she should find another space, but by no means a mountain refuge.

::Both the Portal del Motoco and the Refuge were well received and advised by the refugee Frida. In both places there is a camping area, the cost for the 2021/22 season is $ 800 per person. There is a store in both places with the basics, consider that the prices are high. There is no possibility of spending the night due to covid inside the refuge, you must bring camping equipment and especially gas heater. The initial part is the most difficult, with about 1 and 1/2 hours. going up. The path from Portal to Ref. It is less difficult, with only 2 steep climbs at the beginning. In both places the toilet is with a latrine. There is a lot of tabano, but not impossible. The place is beautiful, with access to the Motoco river, if the days are beautiful you can bathe. From the Ref. Other walks can be made to waterfalls, ancient larch trees, and for the most prepared the Rock of Time. In the refuge they receive a limit of 40 people, which makes the campsite a very quiet place.

::Very nice view but it is very far and there you have to pay for everything 🤦♂️ I do not recommend it
