::BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE PSYCHIATRIST LAURA BORTOLIN Yesterday, 6/27/22, I attended a shift, along with my partner, with the psychiatrist Dr. Laura Bortolin, it was the first time I had seen her. The consultation was for him and the shift was at 10:40, but he ended up being seen around 11:50. In addition to this, the consultation, which we logically paid for in the hope of obtaining a quality medical service, lasted only 15 minutes. Is 15 minutes enough to diagnose a person? We have been attended on occasions by other psychiatrists or psychologists, and being the first time, they attended us for at least half an hour. The Dr. was in a hurry, late and with little encouragement or patience to attend to her patients, we understand that she was overworked because the entire health system is collapsed, but we also understand that we have the right to quality, adequate and appropriate care . When I wanted to ask him a question, after his very brief attention, he said that the consultation had ended and that he should continue attending. We left there with a medical certificate and prescriptions totally illegible and without having 100% resolved our concerns. Today 6/28/22 I had to go back because where I presented the certificates they asked me to redo them because they were illegible and I took the opportunity to consult him because I considered that my partner did not need accompaniment, if the psychologist who attended him (and that I did spend time on the problem that I take him to therapy) and sent us a report that she herself read, recommended it. She did not answer my question satisfactorily, arguing that she was not going to discuss professional matters with me. Can we not then question the way of attending and/or ask the reason for the recommendations they make? Can't we demand quality care? The fact that she ignored the psychologist's suggestion doesn't bother me, the attitude bothers me, just paying attention like that, not spending time listening and at the same time wasting our time, I mean, they work with people, not with packages, And in this case, with people who have mental problems and need care. How are they going to diagnose someone if they didn't take enough time to understand the problem that brings them to the office? Unfortunately, after this experience and discussing it with other people, several told us that they had seen this professional and had gone through similar situations. Those who go to a professional to attend to their mental health, the least they need is for setbacks to be generated and more problems than they already have. His suggestion was to assist us with another professional, as if that were simple, as if getting an appointment was easy and as if we were in a position to constantly pay for a consultation that ranges from 4,000 to 5,000 pesos. I write this so that it doesn't happen to anyone else, so that if they can avoid these situations they do so, because the truth generates more discomfort and anguish. From now on, we will not deal with her again. I thank the girls at the reception, who answered my questions and gave me the suggestion book when I requested it, where I obviously left this same testimony.

::Except for the receptionists, who are divine. The doctors are a disaster, every time I come I end up waiting an hour for them to see me. I don't know why or why I have to make an appointment, and come 10 minutes early if they end up seeing you more than an hour late. People have things to do, my time is worth it.
