::This place seems quite low key and only open at lunch but we are so glad we sought it out. It was our last day on a two month trip around Argentina and almost certainly the best steak we've eaten. The Ojo de Bife was both perfectly cooked 'jugoso', amazingly tender and tasty. Great chunky chips and salad and really friendly service too. Meal for two with a bottle of wine was $685 including a well-deserved tip. Wish we could come back.

::Hidden away in the side street is this absolute gem of a restaurant. I have never met friendlier staff who take care of you as if you are a VIP. The food was exquisite, with the steak and wine combination worth mentioning. I wholeheartedly recommend Santos Manjares to all travellers who come to Buenos Aires!

::Great steaks for an incredible price. I had a bife de lomo for 275 pesos and it was actually one of the best steaks I've ever had which is crazy considering that most steaks easily cost double of this. We also had a hamburger which was tasty, too.
