  Great school! Spent some of my best years here and though there's one review asserting that they just taught science, I was there around those years and had to sit for Biology, Physical Science and so much more. We had a Biology Lab, a Science Lab and even a Maths Lab! My favourite was History and we had very good teachers. Miss Brainwood drawn descriotion of the Battle of Hastings is forever engraved in my memory. Mrs P did not "have a sausage dog", but a datschung that dutifully followed her wherever she went. Mrs D's Art classes were also something to remember. And the Projection Room!! Hockey Field, tennis courts, volley and pool. Quite a privilege! Thank you Miss B!

  After my father was transferred to Buenos Aires in late 60's/early70's, I was enrolled in Northlands after attending co-ed British School in Montevideo, Uruguay for 7 years. The curriculum was a good 5 years behind that of my previous school. They didn't teach biology, physics or chemistry - only science. They also taught Religion (?). I repeated my first year there because there was no communication between the teaching staff and my parents, I was bored out of my mind and the teachers assumed my mother was helping me with class & homework. The boarders hopped fences to meet their "boyfriends" and most of the girls were "boy crazy". Mrs. P. had her pet sausage dog stolen from the front lawn (just in case you think I wasn't there). There was also the incident of some nice young lady(ies) blowing the fuses to 2 blocks of buildings by putting foil in a fuse box. . My maiden name was Sandra White and this school was a total waste of money.
